Season 2005/06 Fixture and ground locations
Afternoon Tea
Balwyn players playing at Home are required to bring afternoon tea to be shared amoungst players from both sides. The Club asks that you bring along sandwiches or fruit cut-up and prepared. Packets of biscuts, boston buns, anything from a supermarket bakery, and so on is not acceptable. The standard of afternoon tea reflects upon the club and is a show of respect to the opposition and umpires.
Match Preparation
As a general rule, players are asked to be at the ground an hour before the start of play. Please contact your captain or the chairman of selectors if you are unsure what time is appropriate. If you are going to be late or can't play it is important that you notify your captain, particularly when playing Away.
Play Starting Times
Listed below is the general starting times for Senior matches. Please confirm with your captain the time the game starts and when you're to be at the ground. | 1 Day Match | 2 Day Match | Play starts: 12:30pm
Be at the ground by: 11:30pm | Play starts: 1:00pm
Be at the ground by:12:00pm |
Game Fees
Each game day a fee to pay for the umpire(s) is required. Please provide the fee before the game or during the lunch break. The fees are as follows:
Seniors: $8
Students: $5
