Our AimsFirst and foremost we want the players to enjoy playing in the RM Hatch Competition. We want them to learn from the experience and improve their cricket skills. We would like them to be part of a competitive team. Whilst it is good experience for the players to play in a winning team, winning matches at all costs is not our objective. We would like players to play the game in a proper spirit of sportsmanship and to enjoy themselves in the process.
What we offerBalwyn Cricket Club has excellent training (turf and carpet practice pitches) and match facilities. We offer sensible, intelligent and supportive coaching from experienced and qualified coaches and senior players. Transport to and from games can be arranged and all reasonable endeavours will be made to minimise disruption to family holidays. Our aim is to give every player a "fair go" and a chance to perform. However, we will not pursue this to extremes to the detriment of the more talented players.
